July 11th 2010 sees the return of this popular summer Randonnee, starting from Carharrack Village Hall. Now organised by Simon Jones, the ride retains it’s familiar dual format – a 64km “rough stuff” route for the mountain bikers, and a slightly longer 69km on tarmac for the roadies. Entry is £5 , plus £2 for insurance unless you’re a member of Audax UK, the CTC or British Cycling (all of whom offer third party liability cover to their members). A pasty lunch (meat or vegetable) is also available for an extra £2.
