Has it stopped raining yet?

Maybe a sniff of spring in the air and time to think about your Audax riding this year?

AudaxPosterThumbnailOur calendar now includes all the Audax UK registered events we’ve identified in Cornwall and Devon, and the spring poster is available showing events on Cornish roads. You’ll notice that Audax UK has had a new logo, and new badges and medals will be available this year.

Quite a few local riders will be heading up to Exeter on March 20th for Pippa Wheeler’s Mad March events. The Coast and Quantocks is popular early season event with a scenic route – it has been not a little wet the last few years, so we’ll wish blue skies and warm tailwinds for the riders.

Nearer to home and gentler by far, the first of our Audax Kernow events are the two Falmouth Wheelers’ Brevet Populaires on 3rd of April – as usual it’s the week after Easter, so quite early this year. Adrian Hitchman has retired as organiser this year, and Phil Conroy has taken over, so many thanks to Adrian and his helpers for all the great rides in the past, and good luck to Phil and team. You can help and encourage Phil by entering in advance, or at least arriving on the day nice and early with the right money in hand!
