Starting from Penzance a very substantial day out for the well-prepared and self-reliant randonneur. You take two ferries, cross many bridges (old, new, small and one very large), see moorland, ports, cliffs and plenty of road much of it well off the horizontal. Good lights are essential. There are no manned controls so commercial receipts are needed at some controls and your brevet card has to be posted to the organiser within a few days of the ride.
